Darrin + Ashton Wedding at North Forty in Fayetteville, AR

**The following celebration occurred during the height of COVID-19 in 2020. All precautions were fulfilled and exceeded by the couple, venders, and venue, in accordance with city, state, and federal guidelines.**

I'm back to blogging! It's been a crazy season in 2020 (which is no surprise to anyone) but I'm so thankful to kick off my Fall season with this couple, and to show them to you just a few days after their celebration!

Ashton and I met 10 years ago at summer camp, and were delighted when we found out we lived only a 30 min drive from each other. She is a friend where conversation and connectivity picks up where it left off, which is such a treasure. So when she contacted me about photographing her wedding after her engagement in 2019, I was SO excited. There was so much joy in the day, so many happy tears, and so much love between D.W. and Ashton. They are going to be quite the team in the years to come!

Here's how the day went from my and Stephen's perspective...

The anticipation was through the roof when we got to the First Look. When they finally saw each other, the build up was released, and such joy filled the air. They had been waiting for this day for so long; it was finally here!

I usually hold it together, but I was getting teary too! :)

Of course we had to recreate their engagement photo of them looking around a tree! :)

Time flew so quickly, and before long, we were touching up for the ceremony. The floral arrangements on the wedding arch popped with the sunflowers, and pumpkins in just the right places gave our sunny October day a fall flare.

After the ceremony, guests were moved to tables spread on the lawn by the farmhouse. Yard games were ready to be played and the couple even served their guests dessert! The pleasant weather and good food made for a great atmosphere.
