Harry + Molly Wedding in Hillsboro, KS

Sweet Harry and Molly are married at last! This couple has known each other for so many years, so to have a classic, hometown wedding to celebrate it all reminded me so much of Stephen's and my wedding day. Even though our relation as family is somewhat distant, Molly and I click so easily when we're together, like we've never been apart (I love calling her my cousin :) ). To be there on her perfectly snowy day was more than a wonderful time for me. Harry is the absolute perfect match for her (the looks they gave each other all day were so priceless!!), and I can't wait to see what God has in store for their marriage.

Here's how the day went from our point of view...

We met Molly and Harry at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, where the ceremony and reception was held, right before the first look. Molly slipped into her dress (which I LOVED, it was the perfect winter gown!), and after getting the boutonnière on, Harry and Stephen hung out at the Historic Church at Tabor College, waiting patiently for us to arrive for the first look. When they first saw each other, you could instantly see the joy that bloomed in the moment (it made me smile ear to ear!!).

Love the addition of the belt; it was flawless with the decor of the venue, and matched Molly's look beautifully!

So fun to have your friends and sisters with you! You all made an awesome bridal party.

I'm pretty sure the first thing I asked Harry was, "Let me see those socks!" :) Love this shot Stephen got of them!

Suddenly, it was time for the first look!!

They couldn't believe the day had finally come!!

I just LOVE that Harry had his sisters join him in his grooms party. Their dresses were gorgeous paired with the bridal party's! How fun to stand by your little brother's side on his big day. :)

Get this: it was wind chills of 10 degrees with fresh snow on the ground, and everyone braved the weather in hopes to get some photos in front of Lorenz. This is a wedding party not to be messed with; they handled it like pros! :)

One of my favorite memories of the day: Harry had a grandmother in a nursing facility who wasn't going to be able to make it to the wedding venue. So naturally, we traveled to visit her on the wedding day to snap a few photos and visit for a bit. Grandma was smiling the whole time!

After all the photos, we headed to the church for some family photos and to rest before the ceremony. And with all the Christmas lights they decorated the venue with, how could I resist taking portraits with the couple surrounded by them?? :)

Before we knew it, it was ceremony time! After some last minute touch-ups and prayer with friends, it was time to say I do.

And just like that, they were officially Mr. and Mrs. Faber!

Stephen captured this emotional hug after walking out of the ceremony. It was truly a special moment.

These two braved the weather once more after their ceremony, as golden hour was happening right as the vows were made! We captured a few more photos as officially Mr. and Mrs.!

Then, it was time for the reception! Faspa was served (I was SO excited when I heard there was Faspa, because my childhood roots knew that meant zwieback was going to be served :) ), and a coffee bar and sweets table made for some GOOD eats! :) Siblings, members of the wedding party, and both fathers of the couple made speeches that brought the house down; it was so precious to watch.
