My friends, this day was a super fun day. The rain held off, the colors of the wedding were gorgeous, the wedding party was a blast, the ring bearer and flower girls came giggling down the aisle, and everyone was all smiles. Kalynn and Mariano are a beautiful picture of Christ growing two people together in unity, and I seriously can't wait to see what their future holds. Here's the day from my and my husband's lens...

I started my day with the girls at Elizabeth's apartment (the matron of honor) in Fayetteville, where everyone was in full swing getting ready! Kalynn did her makeup in front of a big mirror that had been moved out to the back deck, while the girls got ready in both bathrooms of the home. Once her makeup was done, she helped some of her bridesmaids wrap their dresses into different styles before putting on her own beautiful dress. There was lots of excitement throughout the home. :)

Her dress matched the day perfectly!!

Stephen joined the guys over in Rogers where they were getting ready. It was only in a flash that they were all ready to go (which makes sense with Mariano's love of running), though YouTube might of come in handy when it came time to tie Mariano's bowtie. :) I'm pretty sure his shoes were my favorite part of his dapper outfit; what do you think?

They called this their "Sorority Jumping Pose." :)

We all headed over to Cedaridge, where the ceremony and reception were taking place, and it was time for the first look! With the look on Mariano's face when he saw his bride, you could tell he thought she was the most beautiful person in the whole world.

You look stunning Kalynn!

Maybe the wedding party wasn't quite willing to share them yet. ;)

This was a precious memory: Kalynn's grandma let her borrow her wedding band to wear on her right hand on the wedding day. After that, it was almost time to get married!

And just like that, they were Mr. and Mrs. Mendez!

A selfie is always in order promptly after the ceremony. :)

Then it was time for the reception! Mariano's family provided a DELICIOUS meal that everyone enjoyed. After speeches, some dancing, and some cake (and pie) cutting, it was almost time to head out! The day flew by so quickly.

To head out, these two decided to do their tosses outside by the car. After laughing at how *well* the groomsmen decorated the car (I heard that after picking up the basic needs to decorate a car, they started just pulling random things off the shelf :) ), it was time to throw the garter and bouquet! The garter fell just short of the crowd (to which a flower girl ended up picking up once it hit the ground :) ), and the bouquet flew into the hands of one of Kalynn's friends.

Now, this is one way to go out in a bang: take a piñata, throw it to your husband, and let him break it open with a baseball bat. But of course, the groomsmen had to surprise Mariano with silly string afterwards, just to make things even more exciting. :)

Congratulations you two! Thanks for the amazing memories and making us feel like family.

Shout out to my husband, Stephen, who was my second photographer. You are the best partner I could ask for!
