Twas the night before Christmas, and I'm finally getting to blog this snowy wedding! In Siloam, I can't remember us having a solid snowfall in over 5 years (maybe an inch or two here or there...) and it ended up snowing about 4-6 inches on Matt and Tab's wedding day!! Even in the craziness of slick roads and giant snowflakes, we had the BEST time making memories and celebrating their marriage (you'll see that they are dearly loved by their friends and family). Come a pandemic or unusual snow event, these two were tying the knot no matter what. ☺️

Since Stephen was in Africa on a trip, I had the fabulous Mary at Captured By Mary assist me on this day. Here's how the day looked from our perspective...

That train!! So stunning.

For the first look, we stayed indoors and Matt came to where Tabitha was getting ready. In the living room of the Eldridge's home, Matt got his first glimpse of his bride. When he saw her, he was instantly enthralled and the tears began. They were so excited that this day was finally here!

Tabitha also surprised her groom with an art piece for their future home. So precious!

Walking to and from the venues was no cakewalk in the snow; Matt would help Tab switch into boots and hold the umbrella as they walked to the car and back. I love these quick candid shots as we swiftly made it to our vehicles.

After an adventurous drive in the snow (where Mary's husband had to pull my car up a hill with his truck 😬 ), we made it to the Brick Ballroom. Downtown Siloam Springs was a winter wonderland, and the garden patio off the Ballroom made for the perfect photo spot.

The snow made everything sparkle!!

After some winter photos, we ran inside and got all prepped for the ceremony. There were teary moments, abundant laughter, beautiful worship, and absolute joy that overflowed from the service.

We ventured outside for a few more snowfall pictures before returning to dinner. Some of my favorite photos that I've ever captured were in this quick dash outdoors (glowing Christmas lights + small downtown charm + snow that would make a Hallmark Movie proud = these stunning memories).

Congratulations on a beautiful day, Matt and Tabitha!! May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make your many years of marriage sweet.
