Wow, wow, WOW! New Years Eve couldn't have been a better time spent with Micah and Alisha at their wedding. Over a year ago was when I photographed their engagement session, so we all have been patiently waiting for this wonderful day to be here! Their wedding party members were outstanding, the venue was beautiful, Alisha's dress was stunning (and had pockets!! Bonus!!), and Micah couldn't help but have tears of joy over his glorious bride. Here is how the day went from Stephen and my's perspective...

When we arrived, Stephen and I went to work photographing details of the day. Soon after, Micah began getting ready, as did Alisha, and the countdown to the ceremony began!

love the "Greatest Showman" theme that popped up throughout the day!

Special shoutout to Jeffree Star Cosmetics for providing Alisha with the "Wifey" lip color. ;)

My FAVORITE bridal portrait of the day (showcasing those pockets, of course)! Alisha, you are STUNNING!

WOW, those blue eyes just pop! :)

When it was time to exchange gifts, Alisha handed me this little diary for Micah to look through. When Micah started reading it, he was overwhelmed with emotion: Alisha had gifted him letters, addressed to her future husband, dating back to 2011. Micah (who never cries) clutched the book to his chest after reading a few of the pages, and as tears streamed from his face, he told me how surreal it was to finally be marrying the woman of his dreams. He told me how much he loved Alisha and how much he wish he could hold her in that moment, which lead me to cry tears of joy with him! :) To see him so moved made me realize how DEEP he loves Alisha... how wildly he loved every piece and part of her being. The ceremony couldn't come any quicker after this moment! :)

Micah's gift was also very sweet to Alisha. He, like Alisha, is also a writer, and he penned a heartfelt 3 page letter to her. He then gave her a very sentimental gift: The Lego Batman Movie (which they watched on their first date together). :) She loved it!!

Finally, it was time for the ceremony. Micah and Alisha had a sweet and personal ceremony with their friends and family, where Micah wept as soon as he laid eyes on Alisha (cue the tears from everyone!). Written vows were exchanged, and before long, they were Mr. and Mrs. Yowell!

The reception was decorated with a whimsical circus theme, reflecting their love for the Greatest Showman. Their first dance was to A Million Dreams from the movie, a perfect fit for this couple!

Congratulations on a beautiful day. What a way to end 2018! Thanks a million for letting Stephen and I be a part of your day. Wishing you all a wonderful 2019. :)
