This weekend had one of the cutest weddings I have ever been a part of. The whole day was a perfect celebration of two lovers from small towns, celebrating in the small town they would call their home. Brequelle and I grew up just a grade apart from each other, and all day I kept telling myself how fun it is to see how "grown up" all of us have become over the years. Both she and Nathan have such a fun adventure ahead of them, and Stephen and I were SO privileged to play a small part at the beginning of it all. Here's how the day went from our point of view...

I started with the girls downtown right above Cari's Closet, where they were in the CUTEST apartment getting ready (Cari and her family were such a gracious hosts)! When Brequelle slipped into the dress, she transformed into the most stunning bride right before our very eyes.

Check out these bling'd-out Converse that Brequelle's aunt made for her! So perfect!

Brequelle kept peeking out the window to see if Nathan was outside for the first look yet. :)

While the girls were getting ready, the guys were quickly getting dressed then having fun (playing frisbee golf and hanging out around downtown :) ). Stephen took them out for some portraits, and then it was time for the first look!

He couldn't believe HE was the lucky one to marry her!

I felt like I was in the middle of a Vogue photoshoot! <3

Such a handsome groom and a beautiful bride!

Such a stunning bridal party!! They are all so beautiful (inside and out)!

LOVE these colors!

It's always good luck to have a toast before the ceremony! :)

Sister love. Brings happy tears to my eyes.

Soon, it was time for the ceremony! It started right at sunset under the Twin Springs Gazebo downtown. I just love how they decorated the place! First, cousins brought in lanterns to light the aisle for the ceremony, then everyone made their way across the Twin Springs Bridge on their way to the ceremony. It truly was picturesque! It didn't take long before they were Mr. and Mrs!

The weather couldn't have been any more perfect!!

And just like that, they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Weeks!!

The reception was held at the charming 28 Springs, just a small walk away from the Gazebo. There was plenty of yummy food and drinks, along with delicious cake and fun dancing. It was one giant party for sure!

Brequelle's aunts and uncles planned a little dance routine to a remix of "The Circle of Life" (one of the bride's favorite songs). It was hilarious!

Congratulations again, Nathan and Brequelle. We pray that God will continue to be part of your ever-growing relationship. Thank you for letting us be a part of the start!

Shout out (as always) to my husband for being a fabulous second photographer and encourager by my side.
