Friends, I am still gushing over this wedding day. At first I thought it was because Stephen and I felt so honored to photograph my sweet cousin's wedding (Ky and I, along with our sisters, have a long history of sleepovers, embarrassing video-making, and laughing til our stomachs hurt), but the more I scrolled through these photos, the more I realized what a truly fantastic, picture-perfect day Rob and Ky had! Being in beautiful Holland (where the weather definitely beat NW Arkansas' current heat index of 105 ;) ), and the fact that Ky and Rob both in front and behind the scenes were thrilled all day... The day was a smooth and a fabulous party. We made new friends, had fun with family, and enjoyed capturing the kick off of Rob and Ky's new adventure together. We fell in love with Rob and know they will be the perfect dynamic duo to take on this next chapter of their lives.

Here's how the day went from our camera's perspective...

We started our time with them right before Kyleigh was about to get into her dress. STUNNING doesn't even begin to describe how beautiful she looked.

Getting her first glimpse in the mirror; I think she was happy with how her hair/makeup/dress turned out. :)

Kyleigh then had a moment to reveal her look to her daddy. Todd was smiling ear-to-ear, thrilled for his daughter (Ky did a good job holding the tears back as much as possible!). :) We also met up with Rob and gave him and Kyleigh one last moment before the ceremony. It was only 10 minutes until the ceremony start when they finished praying together; they were nearly there!

The ceremony was lovely and personal, with the best touches that felt very much like the couple. The vows were so intimate and special (grab the tissues!), and the couple glowed just looking at each other. They were truly a match made in heaven.

One funny of the wedding was when the unity candle decided it was going to be picky, and wouldn't light up when they needed it to! Kyleigh's mom quickly tossed the lighter to Rob (see photo below :) ), but the lighter still struggled to light the unity candle. So instead, Rob played it off by just making the lighter the unity candle. Everyone was laughing at his clever "solution." ;)

And just like that, they were Mr. and Mrs. Gustitus!

The reception was in the same hall they married in, but now with tables adorn with candles & roses spread throughout the space. The speeches were a highlight of the night (Sal, the best man, received a much-deserved standing ovation for his speech; the room was all tears!), and there was plenty of dancing and dessert to go around! :)

The bouquet catching competition was fierce. ;)

Congratulations on a wonderful day, Rob and Ky! We were so honored to spend the day with you. We hope your time in St. Lucia was restful as you started your new journey together! I can't wait to send you the rest of the photos! :)
