I know I've told you all before that photographing a friend's wedding is, like, the BEST thing in the world, and this wedding proves that this little fact is still true!

It was such an honor to photograph a union between two wonderful college friends. Amanda and I were suitemates-turned-forever-friends our sophomore year of college, and (let's be honest) when Sean and Amanda began their friendship, all of us close to them knew so quickly that it would turn into something eventually :) . And sure enough, it did! Sean and Amanda are dear friends to Stephen and I, and we just adore who they are through each other and through Christ. This wedding was exactly a reflection of their personalities, with Amanda's thoughtful attention to detail and Sean's love for outdoor adventure. It was truly a wonderful day of celebration!!

Here's some of our favorite memories we captured during the day...

When we first arrived, Stephen and I were floored with this gorgeous venue, built on the owner's property (more to come on that!!). Soon, Stephen and I were busy photographing details, and trust me, there were plenty of details to photograph. Amanda had thought through everything, it was perfect! :)

Sean's mom made Amanda's jewelry for her! How precious is that??

This DRESS though!!

You are BEAUTIFUL Amanda!!

Stephen joined Sean and his men once they all were there, getting some snapshots of Sean getting dressed. He looked so handsome!

Soon, it was time for the first look. We walked to a single tree in the field right next to the ceremony location. Sean was WOW'd by Amanda, he had the pure look of joy on his face. It couldn't have been more picturesque!

Time flew, and soon it was time to get married!! Guests hung out in the barn until the ceremony was nearing its start, and then it was time to watch Amanda and Sean become Mr. and Mrs.!

Sean's dad officiated their marriage; how perfect is that?? ❤️

Their vows to each other were so precious (they will love having that keepsake written out!).

And then they were Mr. and Mrs. Billups!

One of the fun highlights of the day was a little surprise Sean's family set up for him and Amanda.

On Sean's first date with Amanda, he serenaded her with a song written by Icarus Account, a brother-duo based out of Florida. While praying before the kiss, Icarus Account themselves (Ty & Trey) snuck into the audience to watch the ceremony, and then walked down the aisle and sang "Favorite Girl" to them before their grand exit. They were both SO shocked (Sean's face was so priceless!). Ty and Trey even stuck around to play for the reception; it was the icing on the cake for this newly married couple!

When we made our way over the reception after some "just married" pics, everything was in full swing. Guests were enjoying a delicious buffet dinner and desserts, and the lights and flowers all around matched the venue decor perfectly! We jumped straight into the first dance once they entered, and Sean then sang a Icarus Account song to Amanda (with Ty and Trey playing along with him!!). It was a fun way to begin the reception!

Congratulations sweet friends! We can't wait to share the rest of the photos with you, and we wish you a wonderful beginning.
